Minnesota offers a whole different type of beauty and adventure during the winter, and the Friends’ annual Winter Weekend is the perfect way to experience it. This year, the skies were blue and the temperatures were in the 20s and 30s as nearly fifty people gathered at YMCA’s Camp Menogyn in the snow covered Northwoods. The weekend was full of snow shoeing, skiing, dog sledding, reading, puzzles, sledding, and of course, relaxing in the sauna before jumping into the frozen lake. We were also joined by the Friends’ first year of Conservation Fellows!
Thanks to everyone who was able to join us this year. Enjoy the pictures below and we hope you can join us next year!
